Due to high import volumes, the RWG container terminal has reached its maximum capacity. As a result, RWG is currently unable to accept empty containers.
At present, average waiting times for the handling of our barges in the seaports are:
Antwerp: 101 hours
Rotterdam: 71 hours
Due to ongoing congestion and in order to maintain operations, PSA Antwerp is shortening the export delivery window at terminals 869 and 913 from 7 to 5 days until further notice.
Over the past few weeks, the situation at the seaports of Rotterdam and Antwerp has significantly worsened. In addition to the ongoing issues with delays in ocean vessel arrivals, further structural changes have added to the challenges. New shipping alliances and shifts in service areas have led to major disruptions in operational processes. Many seaport terminals report that they have already reached their capacity limits, and productivity at the terminals has declined significantly.

Antwerp: 81 hours
Rotterdam: 77 hours
