Current Low Water Levels – Important Information for Our Customers

Currently, there are low water levels, and we would like to inform you about the current gauge levels at Emmerich, Ruhrort, Köln, and Kaub.

Closure of the Kurt Schumacher Bridge between Mannheim and Ludwigshafen

Due to structural damage at the northern bridge approach of the Kurt Schumacher Bridge, the bridge will be closed to all road traffic in both directions from 5 August.

Adjustment of Low Water Surcharge - Level Emmerich / Duisburg-Ruhrort / Cologne / Kaub

Water levels at all monitored gauges are currently at a critical level.

At present, average waiting times for the handling of our barges in the seaports are:

Antwerp: 58 hours

Rotterdam: 58 hours
