The two storm systems “Manja” and “Luise” significantly disrupted rail services across large parts of Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium last weekend. Causes included fallen trees on railway tracks and temporary terminal closures due to high winds.

Stormy weather is expected to cause disruptions at the Port of Rotterdam over the coming weekend. The first terminals have already announced that they are likely to suspend operations from 18:00 on Friday, 23 October.
