Contargo AG in Basel sets standards for speed and creativity in the organisation and control of container handling. Shippers and forwarders appreciate our short handling times. At our sites in Basel and Chavornay we offer you depot facilities for the whole of Switzerland.
All types of goods, especially dangerous goods and temperature-controlled products, are in capable hands with us. We provide a comprehensive range of container services, including stuffing / stripping, storage, plus pre-carriage and on-carriage to and from the seaports. For the transport of your containers we make use of Contargo’s close-meshed European barge and rail network. Our modern IT brings us nearer to you and ensures the smooth processing of your order.
Our Basel site belongs to Contargo Süd (Contargo South), an alliance of the Contargo terminals in Basel, Ottmarsheim, Strasbourg and Weil am Rhein. Together, we offer trimodal transports and the full range of necessary container services in the Swiss-German-French border triangle.
