Situated near the Dutch border, our terminals are closer to the western seaports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Antwerp than any other inland port in Germany. Our frequently- scheduled barges connect Emmerich with the western seaports. The transit time between Rotterdam and Emmerich is only 12 hours, and Antwerp is only 14 hours away.
Thanks to this favourable geographical situation, the terminals of Contargo Rhein-Waal-Lippe are your gateway to the sales markets in the Lower Rhine, Rhine-Ruhr, Münsterland, and the neighbouring regions of Liemers and Achterhoek in the Netherlands.
