Contargo and Flexport start first cooperation with e-trucks

Since May Contargo Road Logistics Hamburg has been transporting the containers of a well-known manufacturer of outdoor clothing and equipment by e-truck from the Port of Hamburg to a warehouse located in Ludwigslust, on behalf of Flexport. The customer explicitly wished for a low-emission transport solution, and this decision has significantly reduced the carbon footprint of its supply chain.

On 1 September 2025 the first train of the Duisburg Dourges Shuttle service will set out from Duisburg. All departure times and container acceptance times are now scheduled.

New product 2: The PFS – Poland France Shuttle

From the end of August Contargo is establishing the Poland France Shuttle, which will provide two new weekly train connections between Poland and France. The first is a direct connection between Dourges (F) and Krzewie (PL). The second line will travel between Dourges (F) and Kutno (PL), making a stop in Duisburg. With these two regular services, Contargo is including continental rail connections to Poland in its schedule for the first time.

From the end of August, Contargo will be offering its own direct train connection between Dourges (F) and Duisburg (D), with a fixed schedule and three round trips per week. The new sustainable corridor solution enables numerous further connections by rail to France, Europe and China.
