On 24 September a ceremony was held to mark the near completion of the extended dangerous goods storage area at Contargo Rhein-Neckar’s Ludwigshafen Terminal. This milestone was duly celebrated, together with the partner firms involved.
On 24 September 2024 at the trade show Shipping Technics Logistics 2024 (STL Kalkar), Rhenus PartnerShip and Contargo received the “Innovationspreis Binnenschifffahrt 2024” for their sustainable concepts in barge construction and trimodal transport. The prize is awarded by Allianz Esa GmbH and the specialist journals “SUT Schifffahrt und Technik” and “Binnenschifffahrt”.
The specialist journal DVZ has presented Contargo’s Head of Sustainable Solutions with a LEO Award in the Managers category. In the laudatory speech she was praised for motivating people to act sustainably, bringing in the right players and thus initiating a transformation towards low-emission transports.
Contargo Rhein-Main’s terminal in Koblenz has been extended, providing more space and additional capacities for trimodal handling.
