Due to the delivery and installation of new crane equipment at the ECT Euromax Terminal, handling capacity will be severely restricted for approximately 14 days starting from 13 April 2026 at 23:00.
This is due to the temporary reduction of available quay length during the installation works.
As a result, the following impacts apply to barge handling:
- Commercial fixed-window concepts will be suspended during this period.
- Euromax will apply additional conditions for barge handling, in particular by requiring increased minimum call sizes.
We are making every effort to continue transporting your containers in the best possible way. However, during this period we cannot guarantee that containers can be delivered to or collected from the terminal by barge in a timely manner. We remain in continuous dialogue with Euromax in order to mitigate the impact as much as possible.
In addition, we continuously assess alternative transport solutions for your shipments, including:
- Rebooking to rail where possible
- Consolidating shipments into larger call sizes
Please note that this may affect the lead time of your transport.
Should additional costs arise as a result of this situation, we will inform you as quickly as possible and with full transparency.
