Temporary Capacity Limitation at RWG Terminal Rotterdam from May 11 to June 11, 2026

From May 11 until June 11, 2026 (inclusive), major maintenance will take place on one of RWG’s barge/Feeder cranes. As a result, the operational barge capacity will be reduced during this period, which may lead to delays.

To minimize the impact, RWG has implemented an alternative solution for export cargo. Containers can be discharged at Q Terminals Kramer (Maasvlakte) and subsequently transported by truck to RWG. This solution is in principle free of charge, provided that the containers meet all delivery requirements regarding Cargo opening and closing and that the data is submitted correctly and on time (“green” containers). If this is not the case, the applicable costs will still be charged.

For import cargo, we are making every effort to collect containers within the agreed timeframes with RWG. We are actively bundling import volumes to ensure they can be handled as efficiently as possible within the available timeframes. However, we cannot guarantee that this will be sufficient for the entire volume, which may result in delays in container pick-up.

We continuously monitor the situation and aim to:

  • bundle containers and collect them as efficiently as possible within the available timeframes
  • rebook containers, where possible, to available rail slots towards our terminals

Should any additional costs arise, we will inform you as soon as possible and pass these on in accordance with our agreements.
