From Thursday, 23 November 2023 09:00 am, the Spatzenbrücke bridge in the Mannheim Handelshafen will be closed for several weeks.
The bridge, which is situated below the Kurt-Schumacher Bridge near the suburban train stop “Handelshafen”, links the inner ring road (Innenstadtring) with the container terminals situated on the Mühlauhafen Basin.
Please note that during this period, more time will have to be planned in when delivering or collecting containers, because repairs being carried out in parallel on the Kurt-Schumacher Bridge and the Konrad-Adenauer Bridge at the same time will cause traffic obstructions. This applies especially for terminal approaches and departures in the direction of the Pfalz.
