Due to the ongoing challenging geopolitical situation and the related price developments in the raw materials markets, we are making an adjustment to our bunker adjustment factor (BAF) and diesel surcharge (TTFS) models.
With effect from 1 June 2026, the current quarterly invoicing of BAF and TTFS will be changed back to monthly invoicing until further notice. This is because the current model no longer reflects the unpredictable, high and strongly fluctuating energy costs. The change and calculation of the surcharges on a monthly basis will apply to all shipments with a departure date from 1 June 2026 onwards.
