From the end of August Contargo is establishing the Poland France Shuttle, which will provide two new weekly train connections between Poland and France. The first is a direct connection between Dourges (F) and Krzewie (PL). The second line will travel between Dourges (F) and Kutno (PL), making a stop in Duisburg. With these two regular services, Contargo is including continental rail connections to Poland in its schedule for the first time.
Both new routes are environmentally friendly alternatives for transports between Poland and France, and have attractive connections in France to Bordeaux, Fos-sur-Mer, Lyon, Marseille, Miramas, Mouguerre, Paris, Perpignan and Rennes.
1. Dourges–Krzewie
This connection will start initially with one round trip per week, from LDCT in Dourges (FR) to the Miratrans Terminal in Krzewie (PL). Contargo is planning to increase the frequency of this direct connection to two round trips per week in the course of this year.
2. Dourges–Kutno
The route between Dourges and Kutno (central Poland, near Łódź) consists of two sections. The first connects LDCT in Dourges with DIT in Duisburg. Contargo will realise the second section, between DIT in Duisburg and Central PL in Kutno, via the partner connection PCC-Network.
