Due to increasing transport volumes and strong customer demand, VEGA Logistic has further expanded its intermodal automotive logistics services between Wörth am Rhein and Fernetti (near Trieste) in September. The Wörth–Fernetti service has been increased to three weekly round trips.
A further increase in frequency to 4–6 weekly round trips is planned from January 2026. Each round trip saves up to 50 tonnes of CO₂, setting a new benchmark for sustainable automotive logistics.
With this strengthened collaboration, VEGA and Contargo are reaffirming their joint commitment to sustainable logistics solutions and the future of intermodal transport in Europe.
