The members of Klimaschutz-Unternehmen e. V. have elected Kristiane Schmidt, Manager Sustainable Transformation & Integration at Contargo GmbH & Co. KG, to the association’s board at their general meeting in Berlin on 15 October 2026.
Contargo has been a member of this cross-industry network for several years, with Kristiane Schmidt representing the company. Her election to the board will enable her to play an even greater role in shaping the association’s work while bringing Contargo’s perspective to the network.
Klimaschutz-Unternehmen e. V. brings together companies of various sizes and from different industries that contribute to achieving Germany’s climate targets through innovative solutions. The network was established at the initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), and the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). It currently comprises 72 member companies.
