The cotac group and Contargo are now offering tank container cleaning and repairs in Ludwigshafen with multimodal access.
Multimodal Tank Care, the joint venture of the cotac Group and Contargo, has now opened its site directly next to the terminal of Contargo Rhein-Neckar in Ludwigshafen’s Kaiserwörthhafen. As of now, the enterprise is offering a full service for tank containers, including cleaning and maintenance for tank containers up to 52 feet.
The Contargo terminal provides the enterprise with a trimodal connection and room for the storage of both empty and full tank containers. In order to meet the growing demand, the number of places for tank containers is currently being increased from 430 to 730. Proximity to the terminal also means there are fewer trucking tours, thus reducing the customer’s carbon footprint.
It is planned to set up more service sites with trimodal connections in future.
