Road repairs on the Verbindungskanal left bank / Rheinstrasse in Mannheim Port.
18.08.2015- The Mannheim Hafengesellschaft (port company HGM) has informed us that milling and asphalt construction work will be carried out during the time between 10.08.2015 and 31.08.2015 in the area of the Verbindungskanal (junction canal) left bank and the Rheinstrasse in Mannheim. Access restrictions will have to be expected while the work is going on. Also from Monday 24.08.15, 7:00 to Monday 31.08.15 6:00 the section of the Rheinstrasse between Güterhallenstrasse and Hafenstrasse will be completely closed to traffic due to asphalting work and renewal work on the level crossing. We apologise for any difficulties this may cause in the processing of orders.
21.08.2015- As a part of the expansion of the terminal in Glauchau, the installation of the portal of the new crane will be carried out on 26.08.2015. For this reason, no trains can be processed there on that date. This affects our Train No. 2, loading on Tuesday, 25.08, which will only travel to Hof.
Please take account of this in your planning and scheduling.
Basis for the water level: water level at 5:00 am (CET) according to the "Electronic Waterways Information System" www.elwis.de. This information is also published daily on our website at www.contargo.net.
The determining factor is the day of departure of the barge according to the schedule.
