We were honoured as the Sector Winner in the “Transport and Logistics” category, in mobility and logistics, because we had convinced the jury with our exemplary decarbonisation strategy and the resulting influence on the sector as a whole.

By reaching 3rd place in the "Impact on Earth" category, not only our dedicated efforts in sustainability were honoured, but also the influence that these activities have on the entire transport sector.

With our product econtargo, we created a genuine pioneering product in our sector. On average, it allows our customers to make a real saving of around 88% on their emissions of CO₂e.

The jury called us a "transition pioneer", since we also take indirect supply chain emissions into account and our goals are ambitious enough to bring us onto a Paris-compatible pathway.

This initiative praised CONTARGO Rhein-Neckar for its efforts in the five investigated categories of supervision, learning on the job, company commitment, opportunities for success and innovative teaching methods.

Readers selected us as the winner in the "Logistics" category. We were praised for our efforts to ensure an end-to-end, reliably green supply chain.

We won the jury over with our innovative solutions in this energy-intensive industry and our clear objectives based on sound analyses.

We were able to demonstrate that we're looking to the future through the successive conversion of our fleet of vehicles to alternative forms of energy, with a focus on making trucks into workplaces with a significantly lower noise impact and no exhaust gases at all.

In this case, our practical approach drew attention. In a preparatory phase lasting around two years, we carefully analysed whether e-mobility would pay off economically in the 44t business area.

Thanks to successful collaboration with the Lille Customs Office, our terminal in northern France was the first French intermodal terminal to be approved as an extended gateway.
