Release of import containers via T-mining/SCR and CPU platforms.

Dear customer,

We would like to draw your attention to the following. It concerns the collection of import containers via T-mining/SCR and CPU at various terminals in the port of Antwerp.

Since June 2023, there have been obligations to collect import containers via the above-mentioned platforms. In January 2024, there was an expansion, resulting in further obligations.
The responsibility for obtaining and maintaining the account lies with you, our customer. Unfortunately, we have recently encountered regular delays in the pickup of containers, that were caused by the fact that our customer had failed to acquire an account, which made processing of the release and therefore pickup of the container impossible.

Please note that an incorrect or delayed transfer of the release can result in unforeseen cost, for example for storage or demurrage.
These costs will under no circumstances be accepted by Contargo Road Logistics.

In order to avoid unnecessary delays and extra cost in the future, please make sure that you dispose of an SCR / CPU account before you send out the order.

We would like to point out that the port of Rotterdam will follow and that there will soon be obligations with regard to the collection of import containers.
Please Log in to the well-known platforms to complete your registration.
