Following the fire in the machine room of our container crane in Basel, the situation at present is as follows:

• The permits for the transport of the truck crane have been received. Assembly and installation work began on 27.12.2016

• From Wednesday 28.12.2016 the truck crane will be able to evacuate whole containers from the subsection of the North Terminal

• We will give information individually about which containers will be available, and where

• We request that import containers should be collected immediately following evacuation

• Due to a momentary order of the responsible authority, as of now containers with dangerous goods can no longer be accepted or processed. However, we can transact transport orders for containers of this kind. Please speak to our dispatchers in import and export!

• Containers at our North Terminal still cannot be loaded. Please wait until you receive information from us.
