The water levels along the Rhine have fallen further. At present the Rhine is only closed for shipping at Coblenz. 

However, it is expected that here, too, the situation will improve in the course of today and that shipping will once more be able to pass freely.

Water levels on the river Main remain high, however. Here no immediate lifting of the closure to shipping can be expected yet.

Based on these forecasts for water levels over the next few days, we have compiled an overview of our barges’ activities in this exceptional situation. Vessels which are not mentioned in this summary will be continuing according to schedule for the time being.
