Contargo offers terminal tour in Mannheim especially for girls

Women are still under-represented in the logistics sector. To make sure this will change, this year Contargo Rhein-Neckar GmbH is taking part in Girls’ Day for the first time. At the four-hour event participating girls can discover the world of logistics, and subsequently act as “ambassadors” for the sector.

“We are organising this event with the aim of helping to make logistics a potential choice that girls will consider when choosing a career“, says Natalie Mauelshagen, New Business and Digitalization Department, Contargo GmbH & Co. KG. “In container logistics a wide range of competencies are required that women can also contribute.”

To help change the present situation, a very special terminal visit will take place in Mannheim on 28 March. Ten girls from the fifth school year upwards can take part.
