After-effects of storm Eberhard

Since yesterday, storm front Eberhard has been sweeping across Europe and has resulted in massive transport restrictions in some areas, including the cancellation of some of our train transports. Especially in the seaports the storm has caused operations to be stopped. In Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium the rail infrastructure is still closed to transports in some places.

Clearing-up work is now proceeding. The situation is expected to improve slightly in the late afternoon. Due to the enormous backlog of trains that have been unable to run as a result of the storm, it must be expected that the situation will still take several days to return to normal.

We will keep you informed of the development of the situation.
