The end of March sees the start of the students’ competition Logistik Masters, organised by the German weekly logistics magazine VerkehrsRundschau. This year Contargo is supporting the competition for the first time. By cooperations with universities and students, Contargo is taking proactive measures to prevent future shortages of skilled personnel and over-ageing of the workforce structure.

Both sides benefit from this: at Contargo, students can get to know logistics outside of their text books, and we have the opportunity of acquiring fresh talent for our enterprise. In order to find suitable personnel many Contargo locations cooperate with universities in their region. Employees go to the universities, and student groups visit the containers terminals.

Contargo regularly co-supervises bachelor and master theses from a wide range of disciplines.
