The closure at Maxau (section Ludwigshafen – Wörth) is still in place. However forecasts now expect the closure to end on the morning of 27.01. 2018.
 
Since 16:30 yesterday, the gauge level at Mannheim has gone down again to High Water Mark I.

The Koblenz/Wallersheim section of the Rhine remains closed to shipping and is expected to stay closed up to and including Sunday morning 28.01.2018.

In Cologne closure is activated at a gauge level of 830 cm, and forecasts predict that this critical level will be reached on Saturday 27.01, from 05:00 to 22:00.
