At present our barges in Antwerp and Rotterdam have waiting times of up to 48 hours. However, the situation is still unstable and may change at any time.

Reasons for this include larger than expected volumes of containers, unpunctual arrival of seagoing vessels, lack of personnel in the seaports due to the holiday season, and computer failures caused by viruses at individual terminals. Terminal operators and port authorities are therefore making efforts to solve these problems. And we should also like to thank our customers, who help to improve the situation by booking in good time and paying the congestion surcharges.
