Due to the falling water levels along the Rhine, from 27.07.2015 ( Import) we will be introducing a special train in both directions between Basel and Rotterdam Maasvlakte.

By introducing this shuttle we are offering our customers an additional possibility to transport containers fast and inexpensively despite the limitations of the inland navigation situation. The whole train will travel between the terminal of Contargo AG in Basel and Rotterdam Maasvlakte (ECT / EMX / APM I).

The loading times for Export and Import departures as are follows:

Export from Contargo Basel to Rotterdam Maasvlakte

Import from Rotterdam Maasvlakte to Contargo Basel

The freight rates for our LW Shuttle are charged at the usual BME prices in accordance with our 2015 charge rates.
