In the transport chain between Switzerland and the western seaports Rotterdam/Antwerp, Contargo AG is now offering the Basel Multimodal Express (BME), its combined train-and-barge rail link, three times weekly. The extended service will run from the beginning of February.

Arrivals and departures are as follows:

BME Import: arrival in Basel: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
BME Export: departures from Basel: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

This new, third weekly export departure gives you the possibility of delivering export containers to the Contargo AG Terminal in Basel late on Friday afternoon.

The additional service will also improve import capacities.
