After a fall of earth and rocks, the Mainz/Wiesbaden – Oberlahnstein railway line on the right bank of the Rhine is closed between Loreley and Kamp-Bornhofen.

At present DB Netz AG estimates that it will take several days until this section of the track can be opened for use again. Trains will be diverted onto the line on the left bank of the Rhine, but the capacities there will not be sufficient to replace the closed track. Other diversion routes are being looked into at present. Thus general delays and possible diversions by DB Netz have to be expected. Our team is examining further alternatives.

We will inform you as soon as we have new information.
