For the Kaub Gauge a level below 50 cm is forecast for the coming days, for Duisburg-Ruhrort a level below 180 cm and for Emmerich a gauge level below 30 cm.

Since the gauge levels in both Duisburg-Ruhrort and Emmerich will now be falling below their critical point, please find attached the Low Water surcharges that will apply until further notice for the relevant water levels:

We wish to inform you that until further notice, some schedules will not be able to be adhered to, and departures and arrivals will have to be coordinated on a case-by-case basis.

Subsequent costs resulting from missed departures of sea ships or late delivery of containers are beyond the sphere of our responsibility, since due to the circumstances of Low Water we are not answerable for them.

We will keep you continually informed of further developments. For operational questions, please get in touch with your usual contacts at the locations or in the sales team.

We must point out that for gauge levels of 80 cm or below in Kaub, 180 cm or below in Duisburg-Ruhrort and 30 cm or below in Emmerich, we no longer have an obligation to transport. Nevertheless, we will do everything possible to transport your containers.
