Effects of storm Kirsten

News teaser

Since yesterday evening storm Kirsten has swept over north-west Europe and the situation with high winds is expected to last until afternoon today. The affected seaport terminals have reported that there may be delays in the handling of containers due to temporary terminal closures.

The wind is expected to lessen in the course of this afternoon. As a result of the backlog of non-processed vessels, trains and trucks that has built up in some places, there may be temporary delays after the terminals have begun to operate normally again. Further delays might occur if the gales also hinder the work at our own terminals.

If you have any questions and/or require more information our personnel will be glad to help you.
