MSC announces container depot at Contargo in Bruay-sur-l'Escaut (North France)

As of now, MSC is offering its customers a new container depot at the Escaut Valenciennes Terminal in Bruay-sur-l'Escaut.
The sea carrier has informed its customers that the depot is operational for all FOT (free on truck) deliveries by barge or truck.

The terminal is open Monday to Friday from 6.00 to 20.00 and has a scheduled barge connection with to the Port of Antwerp, departing five times a week, with a transit time of 2 to 3 days.
The maximum permitted weight for a 20 ' container is 30 metric tons (including tare weight) for transports within France, and 27 metric tons (including tare weight) in international transport.
Empty containers are not available at present for merchant haulage, but empty containers can be returned. The tariffs are available from the terminal on enquiry.
